Key Responsibilities
- Design Vision & Innovation: Set the creative direction for the developer's residential portfolio. You must push the boundaries of "ultra-luxury," ensuring every project is a masterpiece of innovation, craftsmanship, and exclusivity.
- Department Leadership: Lead and mentor an in-house multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for the studio's output, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and team professional development.
- Concept to Completion: Oversee the entire design lifecycle. Because the department is in-house, you will have total ownership over the design intent, from initial hand-sketches and mood-boarding to the final placement of bespoke FF&E.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary design authority when liaising with the Board of Directors, Owners, and external specialist consultants.
- Operational Oversight: Manage department workflows, resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure that the developer's ambitious delivery schedules are met without compromising on quality.
- Bespoke Procurement: Leverage your international network to source rare materials, artisanal finishes, and unique artwork that define the "ultra-luxury" market.
Requirements
- Professional Experience: Approximately 18 years of experience in Interior Design, with a minimum of 10 years at a Director level within high-calibre international design studios.
- Regional Expertise: Significant experience in the Middle East/UAE market is essential. You must understand the specific requirements, tastes, and luxury standards of high-net-worth clients in the region.
