HR Manager (Architecture & Design Sector)
Our client, a dynamic and high-profile design studio in Dubai, is looking for a strategic and hands-on HR Manager. This isn't just a "paperwork" role; we need someone who understands the heartbeat of a creative studio and can balance the strict requirements of UAE Labor Law with the fluid, inspired culture of architects and designers.
You will be the architect of the studio's internal culture, ensuring they attract, retain, and develop the world's best design talent.
Key Responsibilities
Core HR Operations & Compliance
Policy Leadership: Develop and execute HR policies and procedures that are fully compliant with the latest UAE Labor Regulations.
Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day HR matters, providing expert advice on employment law and conflict resolution.
Engagement & Retention: Design and implement creative strategies to keep the team inspired and aligned with the studio's business goals.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain meticulous HR records and reporting systems, ensuring the studio is audit-ready at all times.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Full-Cycle Hiring: Lead the recruitment process for all levels-from Junior Designers to Studio Directors-ensuring a "white-glove" experience for candidates.
Niche Pipelines: Build and nurture a global talent pool specifically for specialized roles in Architecture and Interior Design.
Strategic Partnering: Work side-by-side with Hiring Managers to define job requirements, select high-caliber candidates, and refine selection criteria.
Market Benchmarking: Regularly analyze salaries and benefits to ensure the studio remains a competitive employer of choice in the Middle East.
Strategic Workforce Planning
Future-Proofing: Partner with senior management on immediate hiring needs, 3-5 year growth plans, and long-term succession planning.
Organizational Mastery: Own and coordinate company organization charts and workforce planning models.
Performance Excellence: Oversee the performance management cycle, fostering a culture of feedback, growth, and accountability.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in HR, with a significant portion spent in the UAE.
Sector Expertise: Previous experience working within a Design, Architecture, or Creative studio is highly preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: An iron-clad understanding of current UAE Labor Laws and visa processes.
Soft Skills: You must be approachable, confident, and a "people person" who can navigate the unique personalities of a creative environment.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field (CIPD or equivalent certification is a major plus).
