Our client a leading architectural consultancy in Dubai is seeking an Associate-level Architect with strong experience leading complex architectural projects from concept through delivery. The role requires a confident design professional who can balance design intent, technical rigor, and client leadership, with a solid understanding of Middle East design, regulatory, and delivery contexts.
This role sits at the intersection of design leadership, project oversight, and team mentorship, and will play a key role in shaping project outcomes and studio culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural projects from early concept through detailed design and delivery
- Act as a day-to-day project lead, managing multidisciplinary coordination
- Maintain and protect design quality and architectural intent throughout all stages
- Interface confidently with clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors
- Guide and mentor junior architects and project teams
- Oversee project documentation, ensuring technical accuracy and buildability
- Contribute to design reviews, value engineering, and constructability discussions
- Support senior leadership with resourcing, programming, and project strategy
Required Experience & Skills
- 8-12 years professional experience in architecture
- Proven experience leading large or complex projects (mixed-use, hospitality, residential, civic, or similar)
- Strong understanding of Middle East building regulations, authorities, and delivery processes
- Excellent design judgement and architectural sensitivity
- High level of proficiency in Revit; strong coordination skills
- Experience working within international design standards
- Confident written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage
