Our client, a leading international multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Structural BIM Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled and detail-oriented professional to play a key role in the digital delivery of major building and infrastructure projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the structural BIM process from concept through to detailed design and construction documentation.
Develop, manage, and maintain high-quality structural BIM models, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with multidisciplinary project teams.
Lead and mentor a small team of BIM technicians, ensuring adherence to project standards, workflows, and quality benchmarks.
Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless model integration and coordination.
Conduct clash detection, resolve model issues, and support project teams in identifying and mitigating coordination risks.
Develop and implement automation tools and custom scripts using Dynamo and Python to streamline modeling processes and enhance productivity.
Contribute to the development and implementation of BIM standards, templates, and best practices across the structural team.
Support the BIM Manager in digital delivery planning, model audits, and data management activities.
Ensure compliance with company and client BIM execution plans, while maintaining the highest standards of model integrity and data accuracy.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from a reputable university (Master's degree advantageous).
4-10 years of professional experience in structural design and BIM delivery within a consultancy environment.
Proven experience leading and coordinating BIM activities on large, complex multidisciplinary projects.
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM software.
Strong programming skills in Dynamo and Python, with demonstrated experience developing custom scripts for automation and optimization.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
Solid understanding of international BIM standards (ISO 19650 or equivalent) and project information management protocols.
