Our client a large international Real Estate Developer in Dubai, renowned for its exceptional, luxury projects requires a Design Director for their Interior Design Team.
The Role:
As a Design Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of luxury living and hospitality. You will oversee the conceptualizations and execution of high-end residential and hospitality projects, ensuring that every detail reflects the highest standards of design and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire a talented team of designers to deliver exceptional projects.
Conceptual Design: Develop innovative and creative design concepts that align with the client's vision and brand identity.
Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions.
Supplier Management: Source and collaborate with high-quality suppliers to procure the finest materials and furnishings.
Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
Technical Proficiency: Utilize design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) to bring designs to life.
Spatial Planning: Optimize space utilization and create functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts.
FF&E Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to curate stylish and comfortable interiors.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 2 years at an Associate or Director level.
Proven track record in leading high-end residential and hospitality projects.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts.
Strong portfolio showcasing innovative and creative design solutions.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for luxury design.
