About the Role
Are you an architect who wants to see the "bigger picture"? Our client, a prominent Real Estate Developer in Dubai, is looking for a dynamic Architect with 3-5 years of experience to join their high-energy, in-house design team.
This isn't your typical studio role. Working for a developer offers a unique vantage point-you won't just be drawing lines; you'll be learning the "business of architecture," understanding development from the client's perspective, and seeing how design impacts commercial success and community building in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Development: Support the lead architects in evolving concepts into viable, high-quality development projects.
- Technical Documentation: Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to produce precise architectural drawings and models.
- Creative Visualization: Use the Adobe Creative Suite to produce compelling presentations and marketing collateral.
- AI Integration: Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools (such as Midjourney, LookX, or ChatGPT) to accelerate the conceptual phase and explore innovative design iterations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Marketing, Project Management) to ensure design alignment with project goals.
- Approval Support: Assist in preparing documentation for local Dubai authorities (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, etc.) to ensure smooth project approvals.
Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in an architectural role.
- Technical Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
- Presentation Skills: Strong foundation in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- AI Savvy: A preference will be given to candidates already incorporating AI tools into their design workflow to drive efficiency and creativity.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Dubai market and local design/approval processes is a significant advantage.
- Mindset: A proactive learner with a "client-side" mentality-someone who is curious about real estate development and eager to understand project feasibility.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented, collaborative approach.
