My client, a leading international contractor has an urgent opening for a QA/QC Manager with strong experience in large building projects for a project in Saudi Arabia.
The project is a semi-remote location, the company can provide Hotel accommodation and generous living allowance.

Education and Experience:
- BSc Engineering or equivalent, candidates must have Civil Engineering background
- 15 years working experience with at least 10 years in QC Engineer/Manager post in civil/building projects.
- Have 20 years' minimum experience in similar roles
- Have previous experience on similar projects
- Be able to lead a multinational team and demonstrate good teamwork skills
- Preferably have experience of working in the Middle East
- Be fluent in spoken and written English (preference will be given to native English speakers)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the Contract requirements and ISO 9001:2015 covering Procurement, Construction and Pre-/Commissioning.
- Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract and that the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.
- Establishing and monitoring KPI's for all project execution phases
- Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system.
- Liaising with Client's/Owner's QA/QC team and the Consultant assigned to the project.
- Keep close liaison with the Owner with regard to all site QA/QC issues during all phases of project execution.
- Check purchase and sub-contract requisitions and evaluate vendor's and Sub-Contractor's quotation regarding inspection matters, as applicable.
- Organize and provide quality awareness training sessions.
- Supervising a multi-discipline team of QC Engineers and Inspectors on site
