One of our clients a leading Architectural & Engineering practice has an urgent requirement for a Head of Design/Design Director in their Dubai Office to deliver a variety of projects across the region. Candidates from an Architectural background are preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, from a reputable university.
- At least 18 -20 years post graduate experience including 5 years in the GCC.
- Have managed multi-discipline teams to deliver large hospitality, residential and mixed use projects.
- Excellent client facing skills to manage relationships and promote business development.
Roles and Responsibilites:
- Leading the design studio (Architects and Structural Engineers)
Resource Planning
Ensuring projects are submitted on time as per the program
Client management and ensuring Client satisfaction
Project and design management
Implement and Manage QA/QC processes
Ensuring projects are profitable
Providing technical guidance to the architectural team
Supporting in business development
Assessing performance of the team
Working closely with Management on improvement implementation processes
