Our client, a globally renowned architectural and design firm, is seeking a talented and experienced Associate Urban Designer to join their dynamic team in Dubai. With over 8 years of experience, the ideal candidate will bring creative vision, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of urban design principles to help shape innovative and sustainable urban environments across the region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and delivery of large-scale urban design and master planning projects across the Middle East.

  • Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with architects, landscape architects, transport planners, engineers, and other stakeholders.

  • Provide creative direction and contribute to the conceptual and strategic development of urban projects.

  • Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.

  • Assist in client management, business development, and proposal writing.

  • Ensure that all design work aligns with regional planning regulations, sustainability goals, and best practice urban design standards.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in urban design and master planning.

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or Urban Planning (Master's preferred).

  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating experience with high-profile urban design projects.

  • Excellent knowledge of urban planning regulations, design standards, and development guidelines in the GCC region.

  • Proficient in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, and GIS tools.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and teams.
