Associate Technical Architect
My client a large international Architectural practice, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Architect to join our dynamic team in DUBAI. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of high-quality architectural projects. This role will involve trips to Manila, Philippines to assist with the team there
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Package Development: Oversee the development of design packages from Schematic Design (SD) through to Design Development (DD).
Revit Proficiency:
Lead the development and management of Revit models within a BIM 360 collaborative environment.
Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of Revit models and associated documentation.
Multi-disciplinary Coordination:
Demonstrate proven experience in coordinating with other disciplines (structural, MEP, etc.) across all project stages.
Ensure seamless integration and clash resolution between disciplines.
Code Compliance:
Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and regulations.
Knowledge of Saudi building codes is a significant advantage.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor junior architects, providing guidance and support.
Effectively communicate design intent and technical information to the team and clients.
Client Interface:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Effectively communicate project progress and address client concerns.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in architectural design and delivery.
Proven experience leading the development of design packages from SD to DD.
Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM 360.
Strong understanding of UAE building codes and regulations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on projects in the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia).
Knowledge of Saudi building codes and regulations.
Experience with other BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, BIM Collaborator).
