About the Role
Are you a Senior FF&E Designer with a flair for creating immersive, high-end environments? Our client, a prestigious International Design Studio in Dubai, is looking for a creative visionary to join their thriving team.
This role is centered on storytelling through materials, furniture, and lighting. You will be responsible for the FF&E lifecycle of world-class Hospitality and High-End Residential projects, moving from initial concept narratives to the fine details of on-site styling. Key Responsibilities
- Creative Concept & Narrative: Develop unique FF&E concepts that align with the architectural vision, creating mood boards, material palettes, and sensory narratives.
- Bespoke Design: Design custom furniture, lighting, and textiles, coordinating with artisans and manufacturers to ensure high-quality execution.
- Specification & Documentation: Lead the production of comprehensive FF&E specifications, schedules, and budget sheets (using Spexx, Estimac, or similar).
- Supplier Management: Leverage and expand an international network of suppliers and vendors to source unique and high-spec items.
- Client & Operator Liaison: Present FF&E schemes to high-profile clients and hotel operators, articulating design choices with confidence and expertise.
- On-Site Styling: Oversee the final installation and styling on-site to ensure the project vision is perfectly realized.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 8-12 years of professional experience in FF&E design.
- Sector Expertise: A strong and creative portfolio specifically focused on Hospitality and High End Residential projects in the Middle East.
- Career Progression: A solid works record that demonstrates steady growth and longevity within reputable studios.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Photoshop) and FF&E scheduling software. Basic AutoCAD knowledge is expected.
- Market Savvy: Deep knowledge of global and regional design trends, vendors, and luxury standards.
- Soft Skills: A collaborative "team-player" attitude. You must be a professional who thrives in a friendly, high-energy environment and can mentor junior staff.
