Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary and seasoned Interior Design Director to join our thriving team in Dubai. This is a prestigious opportunity to transition from a consultancy environment into a high-impact, client-side role with one of the region's most prominent real estate developers.
In this role, you will lead the interior design strategy for our flagship projects. You will act as the design authority, overseeing the creative vision, quality standards, and delivery excellence of our high-end residential and hospitality portfolio. We are looking for a creative leader who maintains a "hands-on" design sensibility and is eager to shape the future of Dubai's luxury hospitality landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Set the aesthetic and functional design direction for large-scale luxury residential and hospitality developments.
- Consultant Management: Appoint and manage top-tier interior design consultancies, ensuring project alignment with our brand standards, budget, and timeline.
- Design Oversight: Review and approve all design stages, from concept and schematic design through to construction documentation and site execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal development, procurement, and construction teams to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of luxury, material selection, and detailing, ensuring every project serves as a market benchmark.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a dedicated professional with a consistent, long-term career history and a reputation for excellence.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in interior design.
- Market Exposure: Extensive and proven experience delivering high-end projects across both the UAE and international markets.
- Current Standing: Ideally, you are currently operating in a senior leadership capacity within a reputable design consultancy, ensuring your creative skills, trends knowledge, and technical awareness are current.
- Education: A degree in Interior Design or Architecture from a reputable, internationally recognized university.
- Track Record: A solid, stable work history demonstrating long-term commitment to previous employers.
- Design Sensibility: A strong portfolio showcasing high-end residential and/or luxury hospitality projects.
